Dirt Work….
Note from Jonathan:
A few loads of dirt was hauled in to fill in some of the low spots in the back of the camp ground in front of Doug, Lee and Mark. It would help if you could go around it and give it a little time to pack. It’s supposed to rain today and next week. Thanks – Blue

Camp / Water 03Sept17
Update on the camp from John.
The river is about 12” over the road at Kinder Pump. It’s probably not a good idea to pass that way if you’re headed to the camp. It looks like the only way available to the camp would be Vizard Road being that Carpenter’s Bridge is also under water. Take Care – Blue

Camp / Water
Here is a note from John about status of the camp after the storm.
Went to the camp today and just wanted to let everyone know that there’s water everywhere. Road is really flooded from Neal’s house to the camp ground. Bridge at Kinder Pump is expected to be under water soon. Water at Carpenter’s Bridge is touching the bottom of the bridge. Might be over the bridge by tomorrow if anyone comes in from that direction. It might be a while before the water is out of the woods. Take care – Blue

2017 Spring Work Weekend
The 1st Spring work weekend for 2017 has been scheduled for May 20th. We will try to cut a few trees that were blown down this spring when the bad weather came through. The camp might be able to get some firewood out of it. We will also cut grass, blow and mulch leaves in the campground and also spread some limestone. Cement an electric pole, move an electric pole and raise the electric line. We could use chainsaws, blowers, and a good back. I will also be cooking a sauce Friday night.
If you haven’t already informed me you are attending, please let me know by Wed. afternoon or sooner.
Thanks – Blue
