Aging Deer

Deer can be aged by tooth wear.

Fawn – Less than 6 Teeth
1 1/2 Year old – 6 teeth, 3rd tooth has 3 cusp
2 1/2 Year old – 6 teeth, 3rd tooth has 2 cusp
Deer 2 1/2 years or older must be aged by tooth wear and explained in the following videos.
